 0.0.3-fix — Meta Progression, Smarter Duels, and a Polished Build

  It’s been a busy sprint since 0.0.2, so here’s a play-by-play on what landed in 0.0.3—and the quick “-fix” follow-up to keep the packaged build tight.

Meta Progression & Profile Upgrades

  - Every run now funnels XP into a persistent player profile.

  - The main menu showcases your current level and progress; run summaries recap XP gains and level-ups.

Rival Variety & Arena Layouts

  - CPU opponents draw from unique ability kits: Food Magnet, Shock Carapace, and Coil Shift change the feel of each duel.

  - Battles roll across themed arenas—Open Field, Ring Fort, Spoke Split—each with distinct wall layouts captured in replays and previews.

Fresh Win Conditions & AI Pressure

  - Encounter goals rotate through chain-eat streaks, food-lead races, survival runs, and longer deny streaks so encounters stay tense.

  - AI urgency now ramps dynamically when it falls behind or you’re on a streak, making it harder to coast off mistakes.

Audio & Quality-of-Life

  - The main theme plays in-game with on/off and volume controls housed in the reorganized Settings → Audio panel.

  - Settings were reshaped into categories with context-aware hints, keeping navigation readable even as options grow.

Bugfix: Packaged Music Playback

  - The 0.0.3-fix suffix reflects a PyInstaller asset fix—music (and other assets) now play correctly in the downloadable executable thanks to bundled resources and _MEIPASS lookups.
